AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST COLLECTION OF MADONNA MEMORABILIA
TWO DAYS ONLY – 10am to 5pm Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March
OPENING NIGHT: 7pm Friday 18th March
Maryanne Campbell from Funnybone Counselling, an anti-domestic violence advocate and a huge fan of Madonna’s from the very beginning of her career, has amassed one of the Australia’s largest collections of memorabilia following her story.
Why Madonna? Madonna is a pioneer in music, fashion, culture and women’s right to expression. She refuses the labels and beliefs about what you can do at any age and she refuses any limitation on her freedom of sexuality. Love her or hate her, Madonna has spent her life fighting for equal rights and has pushed boundaries in most extraordinary ways. She has struggled, endured and triumphed.
Maryanne is requesting a gold coin donation from visitors to support sexual freedom and victims of domestic violence.
Maryanne has sent a Twitter invitation to Madonna (!) who is performing in Sydney on this same weekend (18/19), and a Press Release to traditional media outlets and some left of centre ones such as, Gay News Network, Lesbians on the Loose. She has also set up a Facebook Page here: https://www.facebook.com/The-Greatest-Madonna-Collection-in-Australia-628650093959042/ (we have had 22,000 hits on the page to date!).
